Analytics & Performance

Track bundle results with the Home dashboard, understand every analytics metric, and read the store-wide Analytics page.

Tracking Your Results

Your Analytics Dashboard

The Home page in xBundle gives you a real-time snapshot of how your bundles are performing.

Accessing the dashboard:

Open xBundle from your Shopify admin. The Home page loads automatically and shows your analytics overview.

Dashboard metrics:

Your dashboard displays four customizable metric cards. By default, these show:

MetricWhat it measures
OrdersNumber of completed checkouts containing bundles
Bundle viewsHow many times customers viewed a product page with a bundle widget
Total RevenueTotal revenue generated from bundle orders
Conversion RateThe percentage of bundle views that led to a completed purchase

Available metrics you can track:

You can customize which four metrics appear on your dashboard by clicking the pencil icon on a card and picking from Select Metric. Choose from:

  • Orders: Completed checkouts containing bundles
  • Bundle views: Product page views where bundles were displayed
  • Added to Cart: Times a bundle was added to the shopping cart
  • Cart Viewed: Times the cart was viewed with bundle items
  • Checkout Started: Times checkout began with bundle items
  • Removed from Cart: Times a bundle item was removed from the cart
  • Total Revenue: Gross revenue from bundle orders
  • Net Revenue: Revenue after discounts
  • Avg Order Value: Average order value for bundle purchases
  • Discount Given: Total value of discounts applied through bundles
  • Conversion Rate: Bundle views to completed purchases percentage

Click a card to show that metric in the chart below the cards.

Date range filtering:

Use the date picker at the top of the dashboard to filter data by time period. You can select preset ranges (Today, Last 7 days, Last 7 weeks, Last 7 months, Last 7 years) or pick custom dates in the calendar, then click Apply.

Bundle type filtering:

Filter your metrics by bundle type (All, Fixed, Multipack, Mix & Match, Frequently Bought Together, or Product Recommend) to see how each type is performing individually.

Where the numbers come from:

  • Bundle views, Added to Cart, Cart Viewed, Checkout Started, Removed from Cart and the Home Orders tile are counted by xBundle’s storefront analytics pixel. The pixel is analytics-only: it runs only for visitors who have accepted analytics tracking in your store’s privacy settings, and it never records who the shopper is. Plain page views are not counted.
  • Total Revenue, Net Revenue, Avg Order Value, Discount Given and the order counts on the Analytics page come from your actual Shopify orders, so they are unaffected by cookie consent or ad blockers.

Understanding Your Metrics

This guide explains what each analytics metric means and how to use it to improve your bundling strategy.

Orders

The number of completed purchases that included at least one bundle product. A rising trend means your bundles are resonating with customers.

The Home “Orders” tile counts checkout-completion events recorded by the storefront pixel, while the Analytics page “Orders” card counts distinct orders from your Shopify order data (and the conversion-rate calculation also uses order counts from that order data). The two can differ slightly.

Bundle views

How many times product pages with active bundles were viewed. If this number is high but conversions are low, your bundles might need better pricing or product selection.

Added to Cart

The number of times a customer added a bundle to their cart. Compare this to Bundle views to see your “add to cart” rate.

Cart Viewed

How often customers viewed their cart when it contained bundle items. A healthy number here means customers aren’t immediately removing bundle items.

Checkout Started

How many times customers reached the checkout page with bundle items. If this is much lower than “Added to Cart,” customers might be abandoning their carts.

Removed from Cart

How often customers removed bundle items from their cart. A high number here could indicate pricing concerns or that the bundle selection doesn’t feel right.

Total Revenue

The gross (pre-discount) revenue from the bundle items in your orders. This is your headline number for measuring bundle success.

Net Revenue

Revenue after subtracting the bundle discounts applied. This shows how much you’re actually earning from bundles.

Average Order Value (AOV)

The average value per order for bundle purchases. Bundles should be increasing this number compared to your store’s overall AOV.

Discount Given

The total value of all discounts applied through bundles. Keep an eye on this to make sure your discounts are sustainable.

Conversion Rate

Completed orders divided by bundle views, shown as a percentage (orders ÷ views × 100). This is your most important metric for understanding bundle effectiveness.

Focus on conversion rate and net revenue together. High conversion with low net revenue might mean your discounts are too aggressive.

The Analytics Page

Go to Analytics from the sidebar for a store-wide performance view.

Summary cards: the Analytics page shows four fixed cards, Total revenue, Orders, Net revenue, and Average order value. (These are fixed on the Analytics page; the customizable 4-card dashboard is on the Home page, described above.) Sales from checkout recommendations are included in these totals.

Performance chart: a single chart shows a selected event over time. Use the dropdown above the chart to switch between Bundle views, Bundle added to cart, Cart viewed, Checkout started, and Checkout completed; use the date picker to change the range and hover a point to see exact numbers.

Tables: below the chart are two tables:

  • Revenue breakdown: Gross sales, Discounts, Net sales, and Total sales
  • Total sales by bundle type: revenue and order count grouped by bundle type (Fixed, Multipack, Mix & Match, Frequently Bought Together, and Product Recommend for checkout-recommendation sales). A row may read “Unknown” if a bundle was deleted.

There is also an All Events table (columns: Date, Bundle/Product Title, Type Bundle, Event) with a Filter button to choose which events to show, a Columns button to toggle columns, and pagination. Analytics are stored as daily totals, so the Date column shows the day each event was recorded (for example “Aug 29, 2026”) and can be sorted.

Tips:

  • Check Analytics weekly to spot trends early
  • Compare the same time periods (e.g., this week vs. last week) to measure growth
